It is possible for a family at DBIS to have more that one account at the school.
When a family first joins, the school office sends a letter containing a registration code and password to enable parents to create an account on the Parent Portal System for the first time.
The registration code and password can be used more than once to create an account for another family member (e.g. an account for each parent).
The original letter also contains detailed instructions on how to create an account. If you cannot locate your letter, the school can reissue a copy of the letter at the Main Reception (please email dbis@dbis.edu.hk to request a copy to be reprinted).

New parents need to click on the "Create an account" link (see red box) to set up your account for the first time.
This will take the user to another pop-up box where the portal access code (8 digit number) and password (10 letter code) should be entered:
The user's personal details should then be entered.
Please note passwords must be as follows:
- At least 12 characters long.
- Must contain 3 of the 4 character types:
- English uppercase characters (A-Z),
- English lowercase characters (a-z),
- Numeric characters (0-9),
- Non-alphanumeric character (!, $, %, #).
After successful registration, the following message will appear at the top of the box:
Account activation email has been sent.
Check your email for the account activation email. (Please be aware that it might have been routed to your spam box.) The sender name will be "isamsrobot" (email: noreply@dbis.edu.hk) and the title of the email will be "Parent Portal - Account Activation".
The email will look like this:
Click on the link "Verify your E-Mail address" to complete the registration.
This will take you to the following account activation confirmation page:
Click the blue link "here" (see red box) to login.
You will be presented with the login page again but this time enter your email address and newly created password:
You will then be asked to add a security question:
After entering your security question you will be taken to the Parent Portal front page.
